Toddler Swimming Classes For Age 1-2
Welcome to Team Saffi
Saffi is our Water Safety Officer and she will help you and your toddler stay safe as they become more mobile.
With active 30 minute lessons, you’ll both be in the water together in a fun filled environment packed with new skills.
Skills Your toddler will learn:
- Enjoy games and songs – play is key to successful learning
- Swim on their front and backs – using noodles and kickboards to help
- Increase their Underwater Confidence – splashing into the pool from the side
- Learn key Safety Skills – such as safe entry and exits and how to float
How our lessons work
Learn essential water safety, core aquatic skills, and swimming strokes from the first lesson.
Supportive lessons
With a maximum of 10 little ones, a carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.

Age 0-1
Baby Swimming
From your very first lesson, little ones will start to build a strong foundation in swimming – supporting their key developmental milestones and promoting movement, confidence, and safety.
Age 1-2
Toddler Swimming
Toddlers will embark on an immersive swimming journey, building confidence through play, activities, and imaginative challenges as they develop their swimming skills.
Age 2-3
Toddler & preschool swimming
Children aged 2-3 build strength and independence in swimming, growing their water confidence to perfect their core aquatic skills and swimming strokes.
Age 3-4
Early years swimming
Children aged 3-4 refine their swimming techniques, build endurance, and gain confidence in the water as they progress to independent swimming at their own pace.
