I’ve been teaching swimming for 9 years and hold a Bachelor of Psychology with a focus on child development. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Elementary Education at MSVU.
What inspired you to become a Water Babies teacher?
I’ve been teaching swimming for many years, but as I learned more about child development, I became really interested in combining the two. Water Babies felt like the perfect fit!
What advice would you give to parents who are just starting lessons?
My advice for new parents would be to come with an open mind and don’t hesitate to ask as many questions as you need. We’re here to support you every step of your little one’s swim journey.

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
Taught in a friendly group atmosphere, one carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
