I’ve always loved working with babies and toddlers. Being able to teach them life-saving skills from such a young age is truly incredible. It’s fantastic to witness little ones overcome their fear of water and grow into strong and confident individuals thanks to our swimming lessons.
What’s your most memorable moment as a Water Babies teacher?
My most memorable moment was my very first day as a Water Babies teacher. I will never forget how excited the little ones were to get into the pool. Everyone was splashing around, giggling, and having the time of their lives.
What’s your favourite skill in lessons and why?
My favourite skill is the hoop swim. It’s a magical moment when children swim independently through the hoop. And seeing their parents’ proud smiles afterward is priceless. It’s a win-win for everyone!

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
Taught in a friendly group atmosphere, one carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
