I was a former competitive swimmer back home and have never stopped teaching. I came across Water Babies and fell in love with their swimming lessons and what the program had to offer.
What’s your favourite part about teaching?
I absolutely love being a Water Babies teacher because it’s such a rewarding experience to have fun and teach little ones simultaneously.
What’s your most memorable moment as a Water Babies teacher?
One of my most memorable moments is when a child hits a milestone, like being able to float by themselves or learning a new skill they’d been working on for a while. It’s so satisfying to watch them grow and develop in the pool. It reminds me of why I love what I do.

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
Taught in a friendly group atmosphere, one carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
