I’ve always enjoyed being around infants and toddlers, they’re so cute, curious and full of personality. Helping them discover the water and watching their confidence grow week after week is something I genuinely love. Seeing a little one smile the moment they splash in, or hearing their giggles during an activity, makes every class special.
What’s your most memorable moment as a Water Babies teacher?
One of my most memorable moments was when a shy toddler finally dipped their face in the water for the first time. Their parents were so proud, and the child’s excitement was contagious. Moments like this remind me how meaningful these small steps are, both for the swimmers and their families.
What’s your favourite skill?
My favourite skills to teach are floating and kicking. It’s amazing to see how quickly babies learn and how proud parents are as they watch them become more independent.

How our lessons work
Supportive lessons
Taught in a friendly group atmosphere, one carer per child and one of our teachers in the pool in each lesson.
30 minutes long
Lessons take place each week, so it’s a wonderful way to bond with your baby away from the craziness of life.
Have fun!
Skills are taught through song, play and repetition, so there’s never a dull moment when you’re in the pool.
Tailored progress
Our teachers will tailor each lesson to your little one’s ability, so it’s only when they’re ready, we’re ready.
What we’ll teach you
Our program helps your little one develop essential swimming skills, confidence, and water safety from day one. We’ll teach you to teach your baby to swim.
