Early Days at Water Babies
Angelo’s love for the water began as an infant at just six months when he started his journey with Water Babies. From his very first splash, he fell in love with the water. His parents were committed to bringing him to his lessons every week, watching his confidence and skills grow with each class. Over the years they captured countless photos and videos, each one a cherished memory of his early swimming adventures.
Every teacher Angelo had was patient, encouraging, and supportive. They introduced him to the water with care, nurturing a lifelong love for swimming. Thanks to these Water Babies lessons, Angelo developed a strong foundation in swimming, water safety, and water confidence that would serve him for years to come.

From Lessons to Competitive Swimming
By the time Angelo turned five, he had graduated from the Water Babies program, but his swimming journey was just beginning. At six, he joined the Splash Team, and by seven, he reached Ultra 8, consistently standing out as one of the youngest swimmers at every level.
His parents shared:
“Coaches often commented on how easy it was to teach him, a testament to the strong foundation Water Babies had instilled in him”
Today, at the age of 8, Angelo dreams of becoming an Olympian. He’s competed in finals at the Etobicoke Olympium in all four strokes and continues to train hard, continually pushing himself to improve and reach new heights.

A Foundation That Lasts a Lifetime
His parents truly believe that it all began with Water Babies. Had he not started swimming at such a young age, Angelo wouldn’t be where he is today. Water Babies not only built his skills but also his confidence, discipline and passion for the sport.
“Eight years have passed, and our gratitude and happiness remain as strong as ever. Water Babies has been a cherished part of Angelo’s swimming journey, and we will always treasure the role they’ve played in shaping his love for the water.”
It’s been a joy to be part of Angelo’s swimming journey from the very beginning. We’re incredibly proud to have supported his early foundation and see the confidence, passion and success he continues to show in the pool today.
